## Ethical Use of AI in Academic Research

Open-scholar-skill is designed to **assist** researchers, not replace them. If you use this tool in your research, we strongly encourage the following practices:

1. **Disclose AI usage.** Many journals now require or recommend AI use declarations. Be transparent about how you used AI tools in your research process — whether for literature review, drafting, data analysis, or citation management. The `/scholar-ethics` skill can generate journal-specific AI disclosure statements for you.
